Anything raspberry reminds me of very happy times at my grandparents home. I can remember being sent to the garden with ice cream buckets and coming back with red stained hands and a full tummy and maybe a few berries in my bucket. Grandma never scolded. I love the raspberry patch.
Today I wanted to make raspberry jam and Bella's daycare provider, Leslie said they were doing the same thing tonight and gave me the best plum raspberry jam recipe and very easy. This is the fruit of my labor. Maybe I felt just a little of my grandmother in the kitchen with me this evening. When I am in the kitchen creating something yummy to those that try it, I feel close to her. So grandma, this one is for you.

I love the plum and raspberry jam! Thanks for the link. I really like your blog!
That looks so yummy! One day I will get domestic. LOL!
Isn't funny how memories are all connected? I too love raspberries, raspberry patches, and I miss her all the time. I'm grateful to hear of your good memories as I'm realizing that becoming like her is one of the greatest ways to have her close. A tall order, but one I will work on filling.
Cheers!
