The last week has been pretty overwhelming and although I know many others have big challenges, my comeback is that they at least have someone to go through it with. Well let me start by listing all the things I am worried about.....(this really won't sound very literary).
1. buying my own home (positive but stressful)
2. three birthdays in the month of August, including mine and no one to share it with
3. transmission went out in my beautiful suburban to the cost of $3400 and it is in St George, UT
4. school starts this month
5. I have to move in 28 days (again positive but I don't want to)
6. faucet sink kitchen is leaking
7. drove up to house today to find snake stretched out on my driveway (hate snakes- won't sleep tonight)
8. vaccuum has no suction---only 5 months old
OK- having said that here is my list of wonderful things in my life
1 Taron, Keaton, Isabella- I have the gift of three angels in my life
2. buying my own home, on my own, standing on my own
3 my amazing mother
4 wonderful job that I love
5 new friendships- thank you John, having you and your kids in my life has been such a joy the last few weeks. The kids love to be with your kids and that makes me happy.
6. old friendships- Michele you are my touchstone and I don't know what I would do without you
7. three birthdays this month
8. school starts this month ---and i think every mother knows how that is a desired event
9. although my car's transmission went out my dad was there to help me, good thing it went out when he was driving otherwise I would have never asked .....thank you for teaching me it is OK to receive help
10. My Heavenly Father- through everything my relationship with the Father is strengthened and I am again reminded of his hand in all things. Through him anything is possible.
11. Mom- Today you reminded me to never give up my dreams (of course you have been in Disneyland the last three days) You life me and I can't wait for you to get home so that we can get walking again. I am certain I am being selfish having you all to myself when we walk but you are truly my best friend. What would I do without you.
I just realized I listed my mom twince. Well you see how wonderful she is to me!!
